COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Macramé
Learn basic macramé knots and variations. Progress at your own pace by first making a "strip sampler." You will learn the techniques to create wall hangings, plant hangers, jewelry, etc. Materials are not included in the class fee.

Beginning and Intermediate Jewelry Making
All ability levels are welcome. Beginners learn basic techniques of bead stringing and simple wire and bead assemblage for creating dangle earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Students with previous experience in stringing and bending loops learn new techniques (wrapped loops, working with chain, etc.) and variations combining all these methods. Metalsmithing is not part of these classes. Materials are not included in the class fee.

I run small private jewelry and macramé classes located in Howard Beach, NY.
I am no longer offering macramé or jewelry classes at the Y, but I am teaching classes in small groups in my workshop (in Howard Beach).
